In short

• This website sets no cookies and has no contact form.
• We serve fonts and scripts ourselves; no data goes to Google or other CDNs. The only exception is reach measurement with Plausible, without cookies and without identifying anyone.
• Your choice of light or dark theme is stored only in your browser (localStorage). It is not sent to us.

Hosting and server log files

The website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in data centres in the EU (Germany, Finland). Hetzner processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

For every request the server stores: IP address, date and time, page requested, HTTP status code, amount of data sent, referring page, browser and operating system. We need this data to run the website securely and reliably and delete it after 14 days at the latest. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Reach measurement with Plausible

We use Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia). Plausible sets no cookies and stores no IP addresses. It records the page, referring page, browser, operating system, device type and country, and clicks on external links. Individuals cannot be identified. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring reach (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). More at plausible.io/data-policy.

Contact by email

When you write to us, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed and no retention obligation applies.

Newsletter and direct marketing

We inform existing customers by email about our own similar offers (§ 7 (3) UWG, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR); people who have explicitly signed up receive the newsletter based on their consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). It is sent via Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin) as our processor, with data stored in Germany. You can object at any time via the unsubscribe link or by email to kontakt@mtc.berlin.

Links to other websites

We link to our own products (such as depa.tech, patscenar.io, trust.mtc.berlin) and to external sites. Their operators receive data only when you click the link; their privacy policy then applies.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Write to backoffice@mtc.berlin or to the postal address above.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR); ours is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

The website is only available over HTTPS (TLS).
